Terms of sale
These terms describe the framework for professional Geniosteo subscriptions activated for a practice. The pre-order summary specifies the applicable offer, price, billing period and effective date.
Customer and order
Paid Practice services are intended for professionals and organisations using them for their work. The person activating a plan confirms that they have authority to enter into the agreement on behalf of the practice.
An order is formed when the summary and applicable terms have been accepted and activation is confirmed. Explicit special terms in the order summary prevail where they conflict with these general terms.
Price, free use and discounts
The plan shown before activation states the price, taxes, included services and any free-use limits. If a limit is exceeded, the paid plan summary must be shown and accepted before any charge.
A practice-specific discount or a practitioner’s Community-grade benefit applies only if it appears in the billing summary. Unless stated otherwise, discounts cannot be combined, exchanged or transferred between practices.
Active practitioners and proration
Billing may depend on the number of practitioners with active access to the practice. Practice owners, associates, collaborators and locums are counted when their account is active and their email verified, during their active membership period. If a practitioner works in several practices, their access is counted separately in each because each practice manages its own subscription and permissions.
Where the plan provides for it, the price of monthly access added or ended during a month is prorated according to the billable period within that month. Dates and amounts are shown in the summary. Ending access permissions does not cancel an annual commitment or delete data that must still be retained.
Term, renewal and cancellation
The order and billing space state whether billing is monthly or annual and give the renewal date. The practice requests cancellation through the methods shown in its account. Confirmation states when the service ends and any amount still due.
A price change for a future period is announced before it takes effect. Mandatory statutory rights continue to apply even if they are not set out in these terms.
Payment and invoices
The authorised payment method is charged on the presented schedule. Invoices and credits are made available in the relevant space. The practice keeps billing details current.
Following a persistent payment failure, paid access may be restricted after notice, without immediate deletion of data or avoidance of applicable return obligations.
Data, continuity and exit
The practice decides how data under its responsibility is used. Geniosteo by Forge Labs must meet its processing, security, backup and assistance commitments for the active plan, as well as its legal obligations as a processor.
At the end of the service, personal data processed for the practice must be returned or deleted according to its instructions and applicable obligations. Formats, deadlines, assistance and the handling of copies must be specified in the agreement. Retention required by law is separate from retention for ordinary service operation.
Liability and applicable law
Each party is responsible for its obligations and cooperates to limit the effects of an incident. Complaints may be sent to the contact shown on this page. Liability, applicable law and the competent court depend on mandatory law and the specific terms accepted with the order.
